Samaritan’s Place, based in Manila, Philippines, provides shelter, love, and care for abandoned and orphaned children. Their mission is to nurture, educate, and ultimately place children in adoptive families—restoring hope, stability, and a future filled with belonging.
Cowichan Intercultural Society (CIS)
CIS Refugee Center provides refugees and displaced families with shelter, food, counseling, legal aid, and education. Their mission is to restore dignity and stability while empowering individuals with skills and opportunities—helping them rebuild lives, integrate into communities.

Viva Fonte: A Life-Giving Source for Sustainable Impact
Viva Fonte comes from the words “Viva,” meaning life, and “Fonte,” meaning fountain or source — together, a life-giving source. That’s the idea behind this platform: to keep resources flowing sustainably to organizations doing meaningful, community-centered work.
The concept began after my time at El Pozo de Vida, a nonprofit in Mexico City dedicated to ending human trafficking and restoring freedom to survivors. While I was there, I saw the depth of their impact — how El Pozo brought hope and stability to lives once defined by exploitation, yet how fragile that progress could become when funding wavered. In many nonprofits, donations can fluctuate from year to year; sometimes, pledged funds never arrive, leaving critical needs unmet.
Viva Fonte was created to close those gaps that arise and keep essential projects moving even when larger donations fall through. The site features specific, project-based campaigns: funding a year of vehicle maintenance, repairing community spaces, or providing supplies that directly support ongoing programs. Each campaign is transparent and tangible, showing donors exactly how their contribution makes a difference.
